Quiche with Ham & Swiss Cheese
1 ready-made pie crust – I always use the one that’s already in the tin – less clean up!
2 tbsp milk
4 slices thick-sliced ham – think left overs from Christmas or Easter
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 cup diced onion – use about half of a small onion
salt and pepper
This recipe is really a free-for-all… What does that mean? It means you can take the onion and the eggs, and add pretty much whatever you want!
In a large bowl, beat the eggs and milk until all well incorporated and the overall color is nice, light yellow. Spread onion, ham, and about 3/4 of the cheese in the pie crust and gently pour egg mixture into pie crust. Top with remaining cheese and bake in a 350° oven for about 40 minutes.
Serve hot and enjoy!
